"Dirty and underhand politics" - Ming comes out fighting on Brown government jobs nonsense

The last 24 hours was crying out for Ming to come out and do a major interview. Lo and behold, on the news at one o'clock on BBC News24 there he was. Hurrah! Quite rightly Ming is capitalising on this to boost his profile and particularly emphasise that the LibDems are an independent party with things like principles.

The headline announcement was "LibDems calls Brown behaviour 'dirty and underhand politics'"

Ming said that at the meeting with Brown he made clear that the LibDems have "fundamental differences" with Labour and that there was "no prospect of any LibDem joining the government".
