Tories may axe free museum entry

There's nothing final yet, but the Press Association report that:

The Tories are considering plans to scrap guaranteed free entry to major museums and art galleries.

One of the good things that the Labour government have done is introduce free Museums admission. Visits increased by millions. This is a very important facility to allow the education of everyone.

It is utterly typical that the Tories just don't understand this and want to make the whole thing more exclusive. I am just surprised that, in the new touchy-feely Tory party, they are even considering it.
