First of all there was Lewis Hamilton winning the Hungarian Grand Prix. What a boy he is!
Then our visit to Newbury races featured a flawless string of "investments" courtesy of my daughter's unerring picking skills, culminating in backing Free Offer, who won the last thoroughbred race at 16-1!
Add to those things the glorious weather and it really has been a wonderful day!
