Staggering mains water stoppage in Gloucestershire

I've just been watching the Chief Executive of Gloucestershire County Council on Channel Four news. The scale of the unfolding crisis there is staggering. It has gone from flooding which impacted a few thousand homes to a mains water stoppage which will impact 350,000 homes for seven days. That is half the population of Gloucestershire county, and about 80% of the economy!
